So I'm hitting Chicago for the first time in my adult life in about five weeks. I'm going to see some Doctor up in Glenview about getting my ankle replaced. Then I'm making my way to an early game @ Wrigley; Cards vs. Cubs. I know a few people here are from the area so I was wondering about any advice or recommendations about food/entertainment/traveling afterwards. I'm going to be on foot(no pun intended) after the game (I'm guessing 'round 5:00) and will be migrating back from there towards Union Station by 10:00. Obviously some place for 'Za will be in order. Then I don't know. Any good holes-in-the-wall? Anyone up for "coffee" ? I have first round! I'd rather get t-shirts or other souveniers somewhere besides the ballgame. Anyways, I know it's gonna be kind of early for a big city but I'm sure there's someway I can get myself into trouble. Any kindly advice would much appreciated!
What about yours? That wasn't very good advice to Bass Fellow. I can't help, unless you're heading north of the border
Do you have enough experience to replace my ankle? Maybe one of those machine gun jobs Rose McGowan had in 'Grindhouse'!
My diagnosis would be that your ankle pain is all in your head, and then I'd prescribe you some Prozac
