Morningrise, Still life, Blackwater park, Deliverance, Ghost reveries or Watershed.

Well if you NEED a specific one - why not Still life, since its been voted as the most popular album here on the forum.

It wasn't shit until your post.

I would suggest Still Life or Blackwater Park SE (gotta get the SE, bonus songs are great) or you could wait for Watershed and get that.

You really can't go wrong with any Opeth release. Is the remastered Still Life any good?

NicholasDWolfwood, you really are an ass. Hmmm what I suggest is to remake this thread with a "vote" option. This way you will see what people most voted for and you'll buy that one. Personally, take Blackwater Park, it's the most representative album, by myself, and the band's sound at its apogee.

Just get them in order. I think you've already got the ones that are the hardest to get into.

ftlog it's a shit thread because he could have used the search function instead of posting another ridiculous thread.

Everything has been said (except things about new albums/interviews) on this damn forum. How can it affects you enough to make you act like a shit? Anyways. Let them talk even if things have already been said. People answer less often when a thread shows 12 pages on it, did you know that?

haha reading NicholasDWolfwood's previous posts is effing funny.

If you've grown to like Orchid, definitely do Morningrise next. Aren't you curious whether it's closer to Orchid or MAYH? The transition was wow
