Absolutely great album, Ummagumma, pay special attention to the live disc. Anathema are not as daring as early Pink Floyd.

Um, naw I don't think it's all instrumentals man. My buddy has it, I'll probably borrow it from him this weekend and I'll get back to you. And no, as excellent as they are, Anathema are not quite as daring as Pink Floyd once was.

    Ummagumma is 2 discs:

On the Live disc they play extended space-rock jam versions of 4 songs from their first 2 studio albums - but the resulting songs are not just versions, but almost completely new music, with a special, unique mood that binds them together. This is the essential part.

The Studio disc has some great psychedelic pieces, some above average stuff and some pieces close in style to late Therion, only more "alive". Good stuff.

I've reconsidered my opinion now. The Studio disc is as great as the Live one!
