I am in a band called Netherlife, we have yet to record any songs, but we are hoping to start in 2010. We are a Melodic Death Metal band from Ballarat, Australia, influenced by bands like Children Of Bodom, Trivium, In Flames, Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquility and a little Iron Maiden.

    Our facebook page is:

    http://www.facebook.com/pages/Netherlife/225751298884?v=wall

I hope you join and support Australian Metal.

As you may have already seen, after 9 months of being locked away recording in Studio 301 with the incredible Tim Carr we have finally put up 2 new songs which are off our upcoming album, 'Our Ashes Built Mountains'.
    www.myspace.com/beyondterrorbeyondgrace

We have set the release for February 4th, the same day that we will begin a national tour with Ulcerate (Willowtip/Candlelight Records), who are currently touring Europe with Nile.

The album features epic artwork by Colin Marks (Aborted, Strapping Young Lad, Whitechapel et al) and has guest appearances from Jason Peppiatt (Psycroptic), Jarrod Krafcyk (ex The Amenta), Alex Pope (Ruins), Blake Wilson (Gallows For Grace), Anna Vo (Crux), with soundscapes provided by Tim Pope of The Amenta.

We are beyond happy with the results, and we feel that to say that this CD is an enormous step up musically, in production, lyrically and conceptually from the last album is a bit of an understatement. We have really made an effort to craft a complete album rather than just throwing a bunch of songs together - there are lyrical concepts, samples, ideas and motifs that thematically link throughout the whole CD. We are very much looking forward to getting it out there.

More news soon, including labels, and international shows.

Cheers everyone - listen to the tracks, let us know what you think and we'll see you at Brutal Truth which is our last show before the tour in February.

Thanks! I played rhythm and lead guitar on all the album plus a little backing vocals.

Beyond Terror Beyond Grace sign to Obscene Productions and Deepsend Records.

Australian grind noise architects Beyond Terror Beyond Grace have announced that their new album "Our Ashes Built Mountains" is set for release in Europe on Obscene Productions and in the USA with Deepsend Records.

Beyond Terror Beyond Grace commented, "After 9 months recording this new album we are incredibly happy to be working with both these amazing labels. Curby from Obscene and Graham from Deepsend have been really enthusiastic about the album and we really appreciate their support. Both labels have great bands and brutal releases on their rosters and we are stoked beyond words to be joining their ranks. This is just the beginning of a whole new exciting chapter for us."

A new track “Amnesia” is now up on the BTBG myspace page

A studio diary featuring all members tracking and footage of guests Jason Peppiatt (Psycroptic), Alex Pope (Ruins), Anna Vo (Crux) Blake Wilson (Gallows for Grace) and Jared Krafcyk (ex-The Amenta) recording their vocal parts will available soon.

In further news, Steve Smith has secured an endorsement deal with Sonor Drums, Ufip Cymbals and Axis Pedals and Ben (Guitar) and Alex (Bass) are now endorsing Ernie Ball strings.

BTBG will be touring Australia with Ulcerate (NZ) in February 2010:

    Hey guys,

I've put the Anubis album '230503' up on Torrent for a bit:

    http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/53...inematic_Progressive_Rock.5373887.TPB.torrent

I trust seeing as though it's my own band this torrent link will be allowed.

Everybody download and enjoy, if you would like a copy of the gatefold for $20 including postage within Australia send me a PM. We're in the process of getting a website set up.

We're uploading this at least for a while so that people can familiarise themselves with the album material as we will be playing it in its entirety at the Bald Faced Stag on the 10th of April.

I hope to see some of you there.

    Dougie

Nah man, Only guitar and backings on that one. The band you are thinking of is Hemina and we're doing a recording for that now.

Glad you liked it though, a lot of work went into it :)

    Hi Guys,

We just launched our new myspace layout which features artwork by US metal artist Halseycaust (Toxic Holocaust, Mortifier) and just want to know your opinion??

We'll be hitting the studio in the next few months to release our debut release which will feature artwork by thrash metal legend Ed Repka (Megadeth, Municipal Waste, Death) so keep an eye out for some fresh new material.

If you haven't added us yet please do so at www.myspace.com/metalelmstreet

Thanks in advance for checking it out.
