    It's a blast Rick. It's called World Youth Day, but it goes for a week. There's going to be 250,000 more Catholics in Sydney than there is already. The entire CBD is going to be in lock-down. People won't be able to drive to work because the roads will be clogged. But they won't be able to catch public transport either, because the pilgrims will be filling all the seats. So people will either have to camp at their offices for a week, or take the week off. The only thing I'm glad about is that it coincides with my long service leave, so I don't have to go anywhere near the cluster fuck it's going to be.

    I was really suprised when i saw 20ish yr olds carrying crosses and stuff like that. I was under the impression that no one of my generation believed in god anymore. I think i could name 1 friend who does, and they wouldn't go and carry a cross to prove it.

    I find it more disgusting that people go to lengths to have a go at these kinds of people than the people themselves.

    The Atheists/Agnostics/Morons make more of a fuss about it than the religious types and to be honest are more annoying. I have them throwing shit down my throat about how god is terrible and the bible is wrong more than I have Christians/Catholics hassling me.
