There is a new search engine competing with Google. http://www.cuil.com Pronounced 'cool', their searches work on content of the website pages. Google works on popularity by listing the most clicked sites containing the search word. I typed in Lycanthia and the links are ok but the photos are definitely not us, one photo is of a martial artist, wtf? Anyone else tried this site? s

You've got to ask yourself what would drive anyone to go out and randomly kill someone in such a brutal manner without provocation. Humans.
You have to assume that the poor kid would have had no way to stop the attack either. With no sign of provocation or confrontation... he would have just been sitting there and then the guy would have swung a knife into his gut out of no where. Knowing the generation of kids listening to MP3 players, he would have been a million miles away mentally, then BAM. You could even argue that without the MP3 player he may have had some more sensory awareness about what was going to happen, but still... It's a hard image to imagine in a place like Canada. People go on about how civilised we have become, and it takes something like this to remember that we are still animals - take torture for example.

Some more details on that Canadian murder today. The deceased was 22 not 18 (but still), the perpetrator ate parts of him as well as conducting all the other mutilations. And the company that used to employ the perpetrator can't believe that such a polite, punctual guy would ever do such a thing as this. Methinks he might have been an ice addict.
