I finished another album for When Day Descends, which has been posted online for complete free download. A description about it can be found on the site here. And the album can be downloaded here (note: it's a single track 40 minute album, kind of like film-score music, 50.4mb). This is the last of the solo-project albums, and an album with the full line-up and in the normal WDD style is still in the plans for later this year.

I've avoided posting here for a long time since we aren't a guitar band... so I guessed it wouldn't interest too many people on a guitar based bands forum... but seeing a thread on Synthpop and darkwave is always a good sign!

This is a promotional song we did on request, and its gotten us a lot of attention over the last month...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0lqIPAA1eQ

In a slightly freaky twist the place nextdoor to where we filmed the video burnt down a couple days after we'd shot the video... so we were lucky to get down there whilst we had the chance!

Again, this stuff is probably not for everyone here, but if you want something different and keyboard orientated then give it a watch or download or stream the song (and others) here:

^ This stuff is cool; people should listen to it. It has a nice atmosphere.

While I'm posting, I might as well remind people of my signature, as it contains both links to my bands. I just put a song up on the Iumentus one (called Iumentum) that people here might actually like; I made sure to include minimal amounts of poor wanking and instead focused on song structure (at least for more than half of the song). Some comments or complaints (especially about my sucky voice) would be appreciated. :erk:

I have a question, and I thought i'd post it here, since it has been covered here before(on page 3 I think..?), and it didnt work...

How can I use the Guitar Pro drumtracks for my coversongs?

I tried all the stuff Moonlapse posted, but somehow I managed to fuck up, so it didnt work... Please elaborate:)

I'm on a mac so I don't use GP, but I think you can export the tracks to MIDI right? Or maybe even wav. Then you should just be able to import that file into whatever recording program you're using.

Deviated Presence is versatile melodic Death Metal originating from Bochum, Germany.
The music is self-willed, doesn't really fit in any category and is characterized by dynamics and a rich variety. If you were to describe it more closely the music is formerly Death Metal, meanwhile Black-Death-Thrash-Power-Prog-Metal with Jazz influences...
There are two great albums to discover! Third one coming in 2007, first previews are on the web page.

    Check out: http://www.deviated-presence.com, http://www.numberonemusic.com/deviatedpresence,

    Enjoy!
