Tell me, am I just wasting my time with music? I can't seem to complete my band line-up, and my keyboard player is pretty much useless, she's good but not dedicated. Just listen and tell me if my music sucks or not....... www.myspace.com/SpaceEtherium

The metal band my husband is in, based in the DC/Baltimore area - http://www.myspace.com/trihexyn

Several songs are available now (I recommend Omni Contemptus if you like growls, Years of Contention if you don't), and several more from their first album are completed, which means they're starting to play shows and promote :)

Three videos from their most recent show, the rest are their drummer playing covers - http://www.youtube.com/user/joeblobish?view=videos

New song, IMO the best i've written so far! :)

    Only Then We Will Know

    Sneaking out dead quietly
    To our universe in secrecy
    Hiding from our two worlds
    Secretly...
    Lost somewhere inbetween
Watching the first snow tuck in our dreamy town

But then i sense a doubt in your eyes
This aint where the storys meant to lead
You run away, away from all
    Straying into a haze
The lights twist into a blur
As you fall into the cotton

You know i know its insane
Well just never be the same
Theres no way well make it through
    Okay
    Lets do it anyway
Cant think of a better way

Hand in hand towards the worlds
    With this army of two
    Only then we will know
We will know what its worth
A last glimpse before we run
Into the burning rain of fire
    Only then we will know
    Only then we will know

One tip: it's "only then will we know." Switch the "we" and "will" ;)

    KLÄMRISK - CHOICES

Dark Ambient Demo/EP release by Klämrisk.

After a long waiting process for Strange Darkness to finish the cover art I can now present my first Demo/Ep called 'Choices'. It is a dark ambient concept EP about one man and his meeting with death. I strongly urge you to take a listen since I am proud of my result.

A link to a live song that we did back in April. The audio is through the camera, so it is not that great, but it gives you a good idea of our sound.

Hey guys, check out my band KrotchRaut! It's right up your alley......

We're a parody Death Metal/Black Metal/Grindcore band from Arizona. Check us out for a laugh.

Down the road we'll be coming out with an epic song based on a totally random dream I had about Akerfeldt's cat, apply titled Akerfeldt's Cat. Don't worry, the cat wasn't harmed....... Or raped.

We're working on a new song right now!

Could live without the Fred Durst body language of your lead singer, but overall not bad. Moving to the proper section of the forum obviously....

Thanks for putting this in the right place, and thanks for the not bad comment. We like any positive feedback and we are looking for a new lead singer. He moved 200 miles from where we are, so if anyone in the Southeast Michigan area is looking to front a fairly good original band, please pm me, or email me at leon@recyclethesoul.com.

    Thanks

    Mix

I just started working on covering The Drapery Falls from Opeth. I am not looking to sound like the original per se. Any suggestions from your perspective? I am trying to get guitar tones and mixing levels together. I left the gain fairly low on the rhythm guitars on purpose. Should I give them a bit more juice? I was trying to retain some clarity with this approach. Used SSD 3 and recorded the bas direct with my SansAmp Bass Driver DI. I like the lead tone so far.
