What's the reverb you're using on that snare?

there isn't any dude, it's just the SSD room in Slate Drums. Think it's snare 11 and 12a but not sure. Hate that snare now haha

Damn. May have to buy SSD just for the room triggers alone.

Mago, your samples sound very good! Thank you!

I'm currently working on a project with a dull strings-sounding bass so impossible to get a clanky and percussive result. I gotta find the way to make it sound deep and maybe bring more high mids from the guitars to fill the missing bass attacks. Not easy especially because it's not my fave kind of bass tone.

I engineered, mixed and mastered. Bass and guitars reamped by Greg Tomao (lolzgreg on here).

Very good job ;) And the band sounds fucking brutal! Thanks for the link.
Do you remember what amp/cab were used for both guitars and bass?

    XxSicRokerxX: What's the chain?

Here's a bass tone I really dig. You guys know it for sure, check it out at 2:33 ;) (the man's not picking like a pussy too) It's bass > amp > cab only I guess (+ EQ/comp)?? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZcZ2ndsYI4&feature=related[/ame]

PS - the damn good old days!

    ^

Sounds like a good clean bass amp, and perhaps some DI for extra clunk. Not that hard to get that sound if you got a good bas amp, good bas and a good bas player haha.
