You're not so much into buying albums as you are discographies? Some really nice choices you got there btw.. I haven't bought a lot of metal lately: Dire Straits - Making Movies Lou Reed - Sally can't Dance Scafell Pike - Month of Maying (though I think I may already own this one) I'm waiting for these to come in the mail at any time though: Agent Steel - Mad Locust Rising Agony - The First Defiance Anvil - Forged in Fire Anvil - Metal on Metal Blasphereion - Rest in Peaces Candlemass - Nightfall Dark Angel - Darkness Descends Dark Angel - Time Does Not Heal Exciter - Long Live the Loud Motörhead - 1916 Nifelheim/Vulcano - Thunder Metal Therion - Lepaca Kliffoth
Satyricon - Rebel Extravaganza Satyricon - Volcano Falkenbach - Ok Nefra Falkenbach - Magnii Blandinn Moonsorrow - Fire Storm EP Deathspell Omega - Chaining the Kactechon
Curiously I was thinking that some songs sound like a beefed Firewind now that I'm listening to it again. But I don't mind, the previous EM efforts were not this energetic so I welcome this one. By moments also reminds me of Majestic/Time Requiem were Apollo used to sing. I guess is a perception thing.
Turisas - The Varangian Way - Ra Ra Rasputin. Fantastic band ala Alestorm. They blew Dragonforce off the stage when I saw them a few months back.
I like Boney M's version better I bought some CDs this time: Mourn - Mourn Sleep - Sleep's Holy Mountain Ocean Chief - Tor Candlemass - Chapter VI Sacrilege - Turn Back Trilobite Toxic Shock - Between Good and Evil Nemesis - The Day of Retribution Satyricon - Dark Medieval Times Forefather - Engla Tocyme Sarcofago - INRI Death Breath - Stinking Up the Night
Artch - Another Return Artch - For the Shake of Mankind Hollow - Architect of Mind Barren Cross - Hotter Than Hell Live Syrus - Syrus Tyrant (UK) - The Days At the Farm Oblivion Knight - Oblivion Knight Valor - Destiny's Path Heathendom - Nescience CJSS - Kings of the World Warrior (US) - Fighting for the Earth Tourniquet - Stop the Bleeding Morgana Leafy - Maleficium Morgana Lefay - The Seventh Seal Morgana Lefay - The Secret Doctrine Morgana Lefay - Sanctified Mark Free - Long Way From Love
This is my first "haul" post... Journey - Frontiers - probably my fave Journey album RUSH - Signals - almost have their complete discography Megadeth - That One Night in Buenos Aires - great double live album Metal Church - This Present Wasteland - has its moments RUSH - Snakes & Arrows Live DVD - can never have enough live Rush In This Moment - Beautiful Tragedy - some modern metal to spice things up Uriah Heep - Demons & Wizards - with bonus tracks Jethro Tull - Best of Acoustic - good compilation Journey - Revelations - better than I expected Kamelot - Ghost Opera The Second Coming - with bonus live disc
Awesome. Artch was fantastic. Shame they didn't release more. Lemme know how that Barren Cross is. Quite funny, our bass player met their singer on a plane a few years ago. Is the Warrior the recent reissue (or has that come out yet?)
Warrior is the Ten Records issue from 1990. At least, that's what the eBay seller listed (the CD has not arrived yet, like the Barren Cross one).
Just grabbed: ACDC - Back in Black ($3) Saigon Kick - Water (Horribly mediocre) Priest - Turbo (original) Riot - Privilege of Power (I really dig this disc, all the spoken word stuff in between songs goes on for too long though).
Gamma Ray - Hell Yeah DVD Gamma Ray - No World Order Helloween - Walls of Jericho expanded edition Helloween - Metal Jukebox HammerFall - Steel Meets Steel Whitesnake - Slip Of the Tonge Iron Fire - Blade of Triumph Excalion - Waterlines Rage - Carved In Stone HammerFall - No Sacrifice, No Victory
Funny I went to bed yestarday with that album, a bit odd in the mix with all the samplers, but great songs. *********************************************************** Sabaton - "Metalizer". I found it used today, curiously is the jewel case version but it has the 'Jawbreaker' cover that supposedly only comes in the digipack version. I paid $13, the best you can find new is $15.49 on backorder and that before S&H, so it was a good purchase (I already have the'"Fist For Fight" album/demo? so I never was compelled to get this one before).
Queensryche Rage For Order (Vinyl) - I now own this Remastered, original master (CD), on vinyl and cassette + Mp3s. Now I just need a 5.1 Mix KISS - Psycho Circus (2 Disc) - Extra disc is live material. Got it for $5 and couldn't resist. Iron Maiden - Millers (Original Master) - 'nuff said Riot - Through the Storm - I frigging LOVE this band! Both of their discs I just bought rule! Kiss - Dressed To Kill (Original) - $3, couldn't resist. Jimi Hendrix - The Blues ($3) - Bought it for my dad. WASP - Crimson Idol - haven't heard this one but it better be as good as everyone on this board claims it to be! Blissed - Corrosive - Robert Sweet's band, we almost ended up playing with them in Windsor. Decent melodic modern hard rock.
Loudness - "Hurricane Eyes" (surprisingly heavier than "Lightning Strikes") Scale The Summit - "Carving Desert Canyons" Forte - "Stranger Than Fiction" (now I have all their albums!) Edensong - "The Fruit Fallen" Tetrafusion - "Absolute Zero" Leif Edling - "Songs Of Torment, Songs Of Joy" Lion's Share - "Dark Hours" (US digipack version) Candlemass - "Chapter VI" (ltd.ed.) Metalucifer - "Heavy Metal Bulldozer" Hellhound - "Metal Fire From Hell" Hammerfall - "No Sacrifice, No Victory" Wolf - "Ravenous"
