Ah, go on then. One of the few that didn't cause the camera to explode.
ah I see, my bad than.
there's a dutch band Skeletor, that's why I was surprised
Oh what the hell.
This one was taken back in 2006 when I was visting Bergen.
And these were taken early last year.
Couldn't resist the 'Grimm' tombstone. Found it while waiting to pay my respects to Bruce Lee.
Sexual Innuendo FTW!!
Those are some mighty fine side burns you have there thraxas...I'll wait for you to pass out before I plait them
Waiting to pay your respects? I don't mean to sound funny but was there a queue?
Beautiful hair by the way and before anyone starts, no I don't have along hair fetish
Actually, yes, sort of. There was already a small group of people at his grave.
Believe me, you wouldn't be the first.
The 19th century called, they want their facial hair back.
No chance. I invented this look, they were just copying me.
ok, here are some super cheesy band shots we did recently.
totally fucking grim and trve. especially the one with me in the tree
there's some dirt on you guys faces
but the pics are nice, cool atmosphere
what did you do to your little sisters man??
Ahahaha, you guys know the dudes (and chick) in Alabaster Morgue? Jesus, i saw them in Seattle and they were horrible. Honestly, I'm not a douchebag (most of the time), but they are literally the only band I've ever heckled while they're onstage.
Normally I wouldn't bother, but they were playing a death metal fest and they have no business being in that building. I can't believe that band has fans
yeah. we're actually playing with them this thursday! theyre huge out here. and theyre going on tour, playing in seattle again.
i think theyre ok. theyre great musicians, but the fact they combine black metal with metalcore bothers me. the frontman doesnt fit either IMO. but whatever, theyre cool guys. and vik is a fantastic bass player.
actually, i'm starting a folk metal band with the chic from alabaster morgue, and a couple other guys from the scene (bass player of kastigation, guitarist of hells eden, and some random dude who plays mandolin and other stuff). its gonna be epic. and i'm certain this band will be better than all of our other bands combined.
Yeah they're playing with Martriden here. I'm really surprised they're playing again... they did NOT get even a halfway decent response. I'm sure they're cool people so I don't want to harp on that too much, but the bill they were put on was not something they should have been put on... that was a mistake on the part of the booker. Can't blame the band i guess, but I sure as hell wasn't a fan.
That folk metal thing seems cool though. What would you compare the sound to?
By the way, great Joey DeMaio quote on your myspace
still working on that part. most the riffs i write are a mix of turisas, thyrfing, bathory, and wankery. instead of using symphonic stuff for the melody, i use guitar leads. i dont know what the others will bring to the table. we're gonna sit down and do some jamming once my band, kastigation, gets out of the studio in 2 weeks.
manowar > all
That sounds really fuckin' kick-ass. I'll have to send you a friend request on myspace in hopes you'll let everyone know when that gets underway
totally. and add kastigation too!!!
we're hella trve
Haha, i dunno. I scoped your chick guitarist's myspace and she has pictures where she's smiling... that's not kvlt!!!
Nah, kidding. I'm adding that shit bro.
me from the show last night. i will upload more of the rest of the band tomorrow. we got some GREAT shots. including some uber cool hair spinning ones
