    Ok so looking for something similar to:


    Hammerfall - "Threshold"
    Hammerfall - "No Sacrifice, No Victory"



    Also anything Iron Maiden-ish like their S/T or Fear of The Dark albums would be welcomed as well :)


    Understand some of you pay out Hammerfall, that's nice, congratulations for being so hardcore, but please keep it from this thread :heh:

    I like how the very first reply doesn't really pay any attention to the OP at all.



    Check out:

    Running Wild - Death or Glory
    Running Wild - Blazon Stone
    Running Wild - Pile of Skulls
    Running Wild - Black Hand Inn
    Running Wild - Masquerade

    The band is an incredible mix of the old school/power stuff you're looking for, and those are the best albums to get it on. My favorites are 'Death or Glory' and 'Masquerade' but you can't go wrong with any of them.

    For one thing, the correct Hammerfall album is Crimson Thunder.
    Edguy might be worth a look; ditto Avantasia.
    Also, anyone who doesn't own Hall of the Mountain King should die or get it, so there's that.
