I didn`t start a rumor !!!! I just said that in the new issue of Rocktribune there was an add that Symphony X will play Biebob on october 2nd . I never ever said that they will play on october 1st at PP . I won`t dare to spread any rumor about your festival ................... But thanks for being honnest about the fact that you`re negotiate with them !
I don't need them either, but I guess it would be good for the festival. Would've preferred an alternative type of headliner though, as Seventh Wonder, Symphony X and Redemption aren't really that different from each other.
If they'd play the whole mythology suite, I might like it. But since the other 1 whole album they wrote just isn't that impressive
At least it would mean a guarenteed sell out on saturday again, possibly for the weekend. And I don't mind seeing them again either
Would it? They've already played in the Netherlands twice this year and they will play in Belgium the day after. Obviously, it would be good for PP EU to sell out on saturday again, but I wouldn't count on it that easily. That's why Vengeful's idea is pretty good: it creates a real reason for people to see Symphony X at PP EU on top of their regular shows.
True, and I would applaud them doing something special, but I also think they think they prolly won't. The setlist will be different from what they did last time in the Netherlands, sure, cos it's a new tour, but I don't think they'll do anything special unless René specifically negotiates for them to do so. I also know that they have a large enough following, PPEU daytickets are cheap enough and Sjiwa is small enough that a band like SX would easily sell it out. Besides, there's always people that'll see every show they can of a band. Look at Alex, he saw Maiden United 8 out of 10 times they played in the Netherlands
