Ok, here's a few from Mystic Prophecy. Have been going minimalist with the kit lately, but think I'll bring the 70-200, 2.8 next year. Love the shots esa has been posting.

Just a fun shot. I liked the energy.

Obligatory drum shot, though not the best.

All I have had time for. Came home to too much work. Now I have to hit the gym - desperately.

This shot is absolutely stunning. Seriously. Big fucking ups to the dude who took that. Photography is a minor hobby of mine, and I am super jelly.

Was that your buddy? Because he looked like he wanted to kill me when I asked for that picture. Haha.

Obligatory engagement during Beyond the Bridge set. Looks like Allen will have closeups.

One of the funnier things I've read in a while....

    But he's right. That's a phenomenal shot.....among phenomenal shots!!

I only brought a point-and-shoot for this one, so most of my shots aren't that great...if I got any decent ones, I'll post them later.

Thank you both! Personally I'm even more stoked about the Clémentine Delauney shot -- or is that the one you guys are referring to? Including it here so Allen will have to see it again. :D

Yeah, that's my buddy lol I actually bought him that shirt. He always complained that no bands ever have shirts large enough for him, so he didn't have any "metal" shirts to wear to concerts. So I told him I'd but him that shirt, but he's gotta wear it to EVERY concert.

Nah, he wore that shirt with the full intention of having ppl ask for pictures. Happens every time he wears it lol

    Hahahahhahahaha.

They're both fantastic. I really like the Simone one better myself, if just for the pure energy in it. The Clémentine shot is gorgeous, and worth framing itself, but the other one is just POWER.

Also I love that you're including your settings. On the cropped dimensions, I could look it up, but maybe you know: That seems pretty massive. How big are the RAW files the D800 puts out? I myself was only shooting sRAW1 on the 5D2 for nearly everything.

You're both great photographers, but neither of you got the only shot that mattered. Alan Averill with a Truely Metal Cupcake.

    Well? Where is it?

Totally digging re-living the fest through pictures. Sorry I don't have any to share, but thanks to those who are.
