For sure Dave, add the flyer to your FB page, and I'll share it round.
BUMP for this Saturday!
For fans of progressive music, this is definitiely a show not to miss! My band, HEMINA, will be playing for the first time. We hit the stage at 9pm.
Yes, guys. Come to the above gig. It's something of a LORD forum member show. LT helped us record and is mixing our EP so come on down lovers of Progressive Metal.
Also, with the exception of one member, the band after us called Avarin has members that were all part of Transcending Mortality at one point or another including vocalist Mike Zoias.
Whats the seating (if any) like at the Stag? Me and Jess are coming along and seeing as she's carrying a passenger, she'll want to sit somewhere at some point
They usually have a few tables and chairs towards the back of room. If not, they'll be stacked at the back anyways, so I'm sure you can bring down a few.
Really short notice with this show, but I'm sure all three bands will appeal to a lot of Lord fans so would be great if all you Melbournians could spread the word
*EDIT - SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED*
Friar Rush are definitely worth the cover charge guys! My band Hemina player with them in Sydney last weekend and they put on a great show!
One for the guitar nerds in Sydney (western burbs):

I have no idea who Steve Paoli is, but I have a sudden urge to listen to Steve Stevens Atomic Playboys!
looks very much like him
He's an awesome Yngwie meets Vai wizard. You may have seen him around town wearing his trademark "S" studded leather jacked. It's been in Brag and Drum so many times the jacket could start it's own project
This show is at the home tavern in Wagga. I really don't understand why that info is not on the poster!!!
Going all over the godddamn country!!! hahaha
WELKIN ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS
TRIPLE ALBUM LAUNCH featuring
IGNITE THE IBEX
EYE OF THE ENEMY
Alice Through The Windshield Glass
Sydney progressive death metal band, PARADIGM will be launching their debut album ‘Symmetry (In)Sanity’ on the night. Mixed by jENK at L.A. Studio’s metalobsession.net recently described the album saying, "...guitar work that ranges from soul-wrenchingly beautiful to jaw-droppingly fast. It is a roller coaster ride of irresistible head-banging, heart stopping melodic feel and mind blowing musicianship, all blended together in a faultless mix. I should probably point out that over the several bands and albums that I have reviewed to date, Symmetry (In)Sanity has received the highest rating so far. I do not give numbers this high lightly. 9/10" - MetalObsession.net.
One of Australia's most promising technical death metal acts, IGNITE THE IBEX, will be launching their "self titled" album on the night. The self-produced and released album has set the band a high benchmark early in their career with high quality songs and flawless musicianship. The album is filled from start to finish with a great deal of intensity, blending technicality, groove and blasts with no limits. The pre-release album tracks posted online have had very positive response, with the band being compared to greats such as Meshuggah, Ion Dissonance and Devolved.
With a release date set for June 25 through Just Say Rock Records, Melbourne’s EYE OF THE ENEMY are finally set to unleash their debut album ‘Weight Of Redemption’, and along with it, announce themselves to the world in a big way. ‘Weight of Redemption’ is undoubtedly one of the most exciting, and devastatingly powerful albums to be released in 2010. Mastered in Sweden by Plec @ The Panic Room (Scar Symmetry), it features soaring melodic, technical guitar work, breakneck riffing, pounding bass, thundering power drumming, and sensational modern vocals by Julian Detar. Having already supported international artists such as Amon Amarth, Cradle of Filth, Malevolent Creation, and scored a coveted slot on ‘Screamfest’, all in 2009, Eye Of The Enemy are now touring in support of the release of their debut album. Do not miss this amazing live band!
Opening on the night will be brutal tech death metallers ALICE THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD GLASS.
Please check out the Myspace pages (see links below) of the 3 album launch bands for samples of songs from their new albums, all of which will be available for purchase at the show! Make sure to mark down July 9 in your calendar, as with three top class new Australian metal bands launching new albums, this will definitely be one to remember.

Should be awesome!!
Oooo night after us eh!
That will kick arse.
The perils of promoters eh?LOL! At least it's not the same night, that would have really sucked!!
Let's hope the Power/Melodic Metal fans of Sydney are keen for a big weekend then.
If there's any Central Coast/Newcastle people free this Thursday night, come check out one of the last shows ever at the Chilli Lounge (Grand Hotel), Wyong, before the new owners turn the band room into another pokies area.
