The "Atrocities tour 2011" just keeps on pumping for ANNO DOMINI who are set to bludgeon both the Lewisham hotel in Sydney on Feb 18th & The Cabbage Tree Hotel in Wollongong on Feb 19th. These gigs are continuing on from the bands string of shows that have seen them earn respect and a name as currently one of the busiest live Death Metal bands in Oz.
This reputation has just landed the boys an opening spot on the NEVERMORE(usa) tour here in June but first it's their own decimating headlining shows and along for the ride on these 2 gigs are special guests INFEKTION from Victoria spreading their brand of blackened Metal.
Local supports and details are as followed:

Fri Feb 18th @ The Lewisham Hotel - Sydney
    ANNO DOMINI
    INFEKTION(vic)
    DARK ORDER
    KATABASIS
    OF CONSEQUENCE

    7pm $10

Sat Feb 19th @ The Cabbage Tree Hotel - Fairy meadow,Wollongong
    ANNO DOMINI
    INFEKTION(vic)
    NEKROFEIST
    TROLLHOGDEN

    8pm $10

Both shows once again loudly and proudly brought to you by Metal Evilution. :headbang:

"It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane"
    - Philip K. Dick

Conceived and inspired by the unrelenting spirit of grind, AMDBL fuses dark melody and brooding insight to deliver an onslaught of uncompromising atmospheric composition, creating a unique blend of extreme themes and influences. Though we ourselves have no recollection of the event; people tell us they appeared somewhere between the beginning of the end of the world and 2008. Chosen by unseen forces to be a conduit for their ideals; to channel their message. Their existence through our songs, so that their presence may be known by all. They're here. Beneath the veil of reality. Waiting. Watching. They always have been; always will be. Behind every curtain, every door. The Unreal... The Neverborn. They want us to let them in; to let them inside us. So that they can be born; so that they can be real...

    We are already here.

Here's one for the guitarists... I'm running this masterclass in western Sydney but if there's interest for some more either regionally or interstate I'm prepared to take it around the place...

    BLACK MAJESTY
    ELM STREET (ALBUM LAUNCH)
    DIVINE ASCENSION
    ...BLACK ORCHID (SA)
    HARLOTT

    Friday, April 8, 2011
    @ The Esplanade Hotel,
    Gershwin Room

    Doors 8pm
    Entry $15

Headlining a huge night featuring no less than TWO ALBUM LAUNCHES is one of Australia’s leading melodic/power metal bands BLACK MAJESTY. With influences ranging from Judas Priest, Dio, Manowar, Queensryche and Helloween this is a band that wears their influences on their sleeves yet also one that is striving to create new unique and powerful songs. Black Majesty have always shown great passion for the music they play and they’ve helped spread the word with tours of Europe, Asia and Australia, playing alongside heavyweights such as Helloween, Saxon, Paul Dianno, Edguy, Hammerfall and Dragonforce many of whom were overwhelmed by the bands powerful energy. Make sure you don’t miss them at Espy in Melbourne on April 8!

With a style that is heavily influenced by bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Manowar and Savatage, ELM STREET have claimed their spot in the vastly growing new wave of traditional heavy metal. With their debut album set to be released in April 2011, produced by Ermin Hamidovic (Eye Of The Enemy, In Malice’s Wake, Orpheus) and featuring artwork by metal legend Ed Repka (Megadeth, Death, Vio-Lence, Municipal Waste), ELM STREET prepare to take on the international scene with full force and a product that will garner them great exposure both nationally and internationally. 2011 will no doubt leave you screaming for more BARBED WIRE METAL!

One of Australia’s finest female fronted metal bands, DIVINE ASCENSION, has proven to be an awe-inspiring live act lead by the powerful, emotive performances of Jennifer Borg. Now with their debut, As The Truth Appears, due for release in mid 2011, they are gearing up to show the world they mean business. Produced & mixed by Ermin Hamidovic of Systematic Productions and mastered by Plec from Panic-Room Mastering (Scar Symmetry), As The Truth Appears features 12 tracks & 60 minutes of music and is a release bound to receive global attention and see the band obtaining a place as one of the world’s best emerging female fronted metal acts. With tracks ranging from powerful and dynamic to epic and melodic, As The Truth Appears will not only allow Divine Ascension to storm onto the international metal scene, but will continue to cast the global metal spotlight on the shores of Australia.

Joining them on the night will be Adelaide’s amazing female fronted metallers BLACK ORCHID and Melbourne thrash metal band HARLOTT.

If I wasn't leaving the country the following week, I would consider making the trek to that gig. Great lineup!
