    Does anyone know?
    I am wondering,
Joey Sturgis Snare 1 and The truth custom black and gold [snare], are these snare sound the same?

If it is different, which one sound more great?

Listen to the samples on his website and decide for yourself. I personally don't like either of them.

I own SSD4 EX, and it's a huge improvement over SSD3, in my opinion, but I still use kontakt and SSD3 because I bought a lot of expansions for it, and there aren't any expansions for SSD4 (yet).

The Snare 1 is the sound you hear in Miss May I's latest album, the second one is from We Came as Romans Single 'To Move on Is To Grow'. They sound very similar, but I think the Truth one has less of a click and more snare body audible.

Late to the party here, but I agree with Cory.. I can't really get into his snares unless I do some major editing with a C6 or something like that... Raw these samples sound awful to me..
