I read mostly all of the forum of the stupid beginner questions, but I might have missed the answer to my question... so I decided to write to u guys. I'm looking for something like a fan email? If there is any. I would like to write to the band members, but all i could find is a real address in Finland. They really don't have email? I couldn't find any on the webpage just original contact info for booking and press etc... Please if u know their email help me by replying to this. Thank you very much! :worship:

They used to have e-mail-adresses for fanmail purposes, but I don't think they do anymore (if they had, they would be clearly visible on their website). They got so many fans they'd get flooded with fan-mail, if they still had an e-mail for that. I think your best bet is to send an actual letter to their home, or via Spinefarm Records, I think they handled that stuff at least at some point.

And obviously their home addresses aren't public.

In fact maybe we should have a Fan Mail thread up in the stickies? You could have all the fan pics and stories and crazy love letters and come to Serbia wishes in there. We get visits from at least Janne and Kal now and then... and since this is the only way to get any message to the band... If you think it's good I can set it up.

Thank you for the info :D Than probably that's why I couldn't find it. I just thought it would be more simple to write them by email than write letters. They probably have massive amount of letters anyway carry home read & dispose those can be tiring lol. I would prefer the click delete button done kinda way xd

got a question about rigging gear.

    assume i had a GP1000 or buy one..anyway
    how would I rig it?
like preamp - amp - cabinet

this seems normal way to me going spelling-wise

or does the preamp just replace the normal amp, making its preamp - cabinet

little more info on this pls?

You can not plug a preamp into just a cab unless the preamp has a built in power amp section(like the engl e530)

preamp--->>poweramp--->>cab........about a simple as it can be.

Reason for a power amp is to amplify the signal from the preamp as is it small and must be made bigger so the cab can make sense of it. This is the most simplified explanation I could think of.

A combo-amp is a preamp+poweramp wired to a speaker. All of this is housed in one unit, hence the name combo.

Amp heads are preamps+poweramps. They are as you might have guessed, in the same housing and needs to be connected to a separately housed cab.

As srob said, if you want a GP-1000 to work you have to get a poweramp as well as a cabinet. Connecting a GP-1000 to an amp and then to a cab would just create a big mess (don't even think it's safe).

Think of the poweramp as a really big and expensive volume knob.

check the sites and see who handles booking.
Since both bands have the same booking agency for the US it was easier than for Europe where they have different companies handle things.

If you don't get the answer try to understand them- how many e-mails per day do you think that they actually receive? A lot is not enough.
To be honest, I don't think that you'll receive any answer  but IDK, let's hope for the best :D
Let us know if you received anything from them :)
