In all seriousness...list the bands you would be interested in seeing play. Running Wild, Cirith Ungol, and stuff like that won't happen...cost too much. Doom is pretty much out of the question. Bands who tour or have played the fest before are also out of the questions. We will have one or two returns but they are selected already pretty much unless something cool pops up. Suggest bands that would actually play.
I second this. I have brought them up before as well. Its been quite a number of years since they have done a proper US tour. They have always been one of those bands I have wanted to see but never pulled the trigger when they come. A fest is a setting I would definitely see them in.
I think his point is have them if they only do an 80's only set. Though from what I recall of their setlist, it mostly is 80s anyhow

Yes please! I know they are expensive but I think they'd make a killer headliner. Impaler and even Diamond Rexx seemed to go over really well. Lizzy Borden is the next logical step! A lot of the guesses are on the list for next year....crossing my fingers for the headliners to confirm. If so it should be very cool next year.

Howie Bentley told me he's pretty much finished with music, at least for a while. He's focusing on writing fiction now.
it has been tried a few times and even I know a few other fest who have tried as well. Sometimes members just don't want to do it..which I would rather see happen than a lackluster set.
