Thanks guys! Haha yeah, the first pic is a good representation of my vision at that point. Been walking along the train tracks for quite a while. Maybe not the best decision, when you're having a night of drinking on your back. But as you can see, these tracks are not the busiest on earth...
Those are great! I especially like the colors of the last and second to last. Which reminds me, I sooo wish I had my camera this morning at the train station! There were some freight cars parked on the track next to the commuter track, and amongst all the usual graffiti on the cars, there was a magnificent figure painted on one of them. Don't really know how to describe it, as it was so random, but definitely had a Tim Burton vibe to it. The colors and the intricacy of it were so awesome. Sometimes those cars will stay parked for several days so I'm taking my cam tomorrow
Awesome. Looking forward to the pic! I'm glad my mobile takes at least semi-acceptable pics for such uncalled situations... @ Mah: Thankee! I have a thing for the "old abandoned industrial" vibe. It's a nice contrast to see the old trains in a beautifully coloured environment.
I was riding my bike to the store today through a neighborhood and I turned around randomly on the ride and noticed the sunset off in the distance. I had to stop and take a picture
Sunsets / Sunrises in coastal areas are by far some of my favorite things to take and view pictures of. There's just something about how the water and setting/rising sun relate that's both fascinating and relaxing. I've never seen a sunrise over water though as I've never been on the east coast of North America, but I'd assume seeing it in person is amazing.
Holy shit that fog picture rules. AWESOME! Took some pics at bjj class the other day when my nose was too bloody to roll. Mac and George startin' up: And as always, George submitting people: Phil and Kris throwin down: They wore themselves a bit: George got tired of submitting Mac so he moved onto Erling, the insanely strong, IPA chugging Norwegian: George gets the mount. Not lookin' so good for Erling now: OH SHIT ERLING SWEEPS HIM AND GAINS POSITION!!! But alas, George is way too slick for any of that shit and just taps Erling with an armbar (blurry pic):
awesome stuff Kevin, as usual. I say they should get a rematch, the IPA Chugging Norwegian should've won. then again, us Nordic folk aren't known for our graceful ways.
Finally got around to taking these pics off my camera - it's from a weekend getaway the wife and I spent in Grayland, WA (kinda by Aberdeen). My aunt and uncle have a cabin down there, great place.
