8/10 - The list of influences made me feel nauseous, but I was pleasantly surprised. Some room for improvement with the vocals, though.

9/10 - solid 80s sound, great vocalist, melodic sort of catchy hard rock meets power metal.

After mentioning a small resurgence in American power metal in the other thread I stumbled upon these guys from VA:

Pretty dynamical melodic-black-power by my fellow countrymen. It's interesting. 7.5/10. 7.5/10.

Not a huge fan of Candlemass, love his vocals though. Maybe I need to listen to these guys a bit more, I'm sure they have better songs than this. 5/10

I got into this track whilst I was at a friends house, it's beautiful.

Chipper traditional heavy with catchy chorus. Scandinavians knows a good judge in it. 8/10.

A bit gloomy neoclassical power metal and quite interesting video. 8/10.

Didn't even know there was a third Allen-Lande album out... can't say this really did much for me, though. Sad because I really enjoyed a lot of songs on the first album. Good chorus, but other than that I can't remember anything, and the song just ended. 3/10

Very, very good melodic metal song. Guitars, keyboards and vocal melodies - all was catchy in it. Higher score - 10/10.
