I'm pretty sure the topic rules state that you can't post the same song twice.
That was weird, but interesting.
Mort I laughed so badly
7/10 Good energy but didn't really have any distinctive qualities.
7.8/10, pretty good, though the production could be improved.
4/10 No thanks.
I hate it when certain people, who obviously do not for the style or genre of the most recently posted song, go ahead and rate the song anyway, and give it some pathetic rating like 0 to 5 out of 10 and don't leave any comments or criticism whatsoever. I'm not going to mention any one particular example, but there are instances of this behavior on every single page of this thread. When I see shit like people rating Burzum a 6, or something classic like "Override of the Overture" by Dismember getting anything less than an 8, it makes me want to squeeze the life out of small, cuddly animals.
p.s. "Enslave the Astral Fortress" is a minor classic of 90's melodic black metal! Cheers to dude that posted that.
So because you or some group of people like something, everyone else has to like it too? The entire point is to hear stuff you're not usually familiar with, maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't.
6/10 Got a bit repetitive after a while
^^ You're right, but some songs are constant 10/10. Examples: Immortal Rites, Override of the Overture, Evil.
8/10 Some great thrash I hadn't heard before, -2 because his high pitched squeals at some points took away from the awesome thrashy feel to me. Otherwise great song.
7/10 It's got nothing on the 4 preceding songs on that album, IMO.
7/10 It was all right but not amazing.
7/10 for Witchery
This is a local band that signed with Candlelight Records. Look for their debut album this year.
