I'm reading 3 books at the moment, depending on my mood.
The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress by Robert A. Heinlein
The Summoner by Gail Z. Martin
The First Law, Book 1: The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie

I'd say they are all pretty good in their fields, while I wouldn't recommend The Summoner to anyone
but the most bored fantasy readers as it's pretty damn generic.

^ Oh yeah I love Heinlein. I also have The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, and will read after Gulliver's Travels and Atlas Shrugged.

Have you read "I Will Fear No Evil"? I guess it's Heinlein's worst book. It has some brilliant parts, but is way too long and becomes too repetitive.

More of my typical reading, books about serial killers, the Third Reich, assassins *

just finished book(1) 'Hitler', 1889-1936 Hubris by Ian Kershaw only 800 pages
started book(2) 'Hitler', 1936-1945 Nemesis by Ian Kershaw over a 1000 pages in this volume

*I am interested in anything about revolt, disorder, chaos-especially activity that seems to have no meaning -
