nothing obvious.. No black/thrash no black/insert genre.. Just black metal. Perhaps i missed a few gems from 2008? also.. anyone know if ITHDABQUTH QLIPHOTH is worth checking out?
Try these: Die Toten kehren wieder mit dem Wind (every album is good, seriously) Luror Blutklinge Sapfhier Octinomos Dodsferd Kyprian's Circle Nehëmah Tsatthoggua
Even though you have like, everything, I'd recommend picking up whichever Leviathan releases you don't have, because Wrest brings something unique to every release.
Also, it's possible you skipped the N.I.L. - s/t release. This actually has had a lot of longevity with me. Solid material for being drunk or going to bed. Neil (Krieg) wins with the production on this. He's not doing anything innovative with the riffs, but the sound is so engrossing. Disclaimer: Not 100% black metal.
I believe Ithdabquth is solely an artist specific word, but according to Wikipedia: Qliphoth, kliffoth or klippot (Heb. קליפות qelippot, meaning "peels", "shells" or matter,[1] singular: קליפה qelippah and sometimes קליפות the primeval "husks" of impurity) refer to the representation of evil forces in the mystical teachings of Judaism (such as in the Kabbalah.)[2]
Well whether those are real words or not, this name is certainly attempt to be extremely kvlt, but is in fact annoying.
Qliphoth is a word (remember Therion's Lepaca Kliffoth?). The first word, however, isn't an actual word.
The guy is pretty pretentious (he goes by the name AL-LA-ShT-ORR) but the music is cool anyway. Varied occult black metal with strong production. btw the guy who reviewed the debut LP is nothing short of a major faggot, so don't listen to him.
Ok. Wait. Jews are now kvlt? WTF? Anyhow, unpronounceable names are really gay. I saw that, pretty brutal review. Any links where I can hear something?
