    Here's a bit of a change of pace...



    As for noise rock, check out Big Black, Rapeman, Shellac, and The Jesus Lizard. Hex Machine is a much lesser known noise rock band from Richmond but they're well worth your time.

    Here's the pinnacle of math rock, a band from Richmond known as Breadwinner. And I saved my favorite for last.

    Soror Dolorosa, nothing original but a great new band with a lot of potential. "Beau Suicide" was my favourite song of 2009.


    Maybe some older Dead or Alive?
