Second favorite band, one man folk-black from Norway.
Yeah his album kicks many buttocks.
Of course! they are seeking a bass player and another guitarist i believe.
Evoken. Doom, doom, doom. The doomestest of the doomest.
I don't know if anyone has mention Fair to Midland
the new album is just about the catchiest and most well crafted rock music I've heard in like five years.
image porcupine tree, mars volta, coheed and cambria type pop-fueled modern prog rock, only a lot less diddly and extremely energetic and infectious.
Naglfar's album, "Diabolical"...
Think Satyricon's Nemesis Divina meets Emperor's In the Nightside Eclipse
Nagelfar > Naglfar
I like Naglfar a lot, but I completely agree with Wolftribe.
S.A Slayer. This was Ron Jarzombek's old band. They play technical thrash/speed metal. Not quite as over the top as Watchtower, and not quite as good either, but definitely worth checking out.
Juggernaut (featuring Bobby Jarzombek). They're more of a semi-technical thrash/speed metal band. The bass is in the forefront of the mix, which is great considering the bass work is pretty damn impressive.
Sooo... how many of these bands actually sound anything close to Nevermore's sound? i mean sure, Nevermore are rather orginal, but something close..
close to nevermore?
Delieverance - Weapons of our Warefare
that song sounds a lot like nevermore
World Below, their myspace says:
Sounds LikeThey say we sounds like Candlemass, Cathedral, Orodruin, Solitude Aeturnus, Krux and so on...
people here like these bands, and this song I'm playing, Monster in the Closet is GOOD. reminds me of ozzy's voice a bit, backed by some great slightly more modern doom.
Battleheart have changed their name to ALESTORM, for anyone this might be of interest to.
Try listening to Strapping Young Lad...
I like that band very very much..
However they don't sound at all like Nevermore.
Tomorrow to Helmond to see Nevermore!
I saw them in Belgium last year and it was great!
Elsrock I cannot go....unfortunately.
I'm good friends with Gavin. Great band.
Aye, I'm pretty good mates wi' Dani. They're characters.
Adramelch. Awesome old-school prog/power metal from Italy. A little on the side of Iron Maiden worship, but still excellent, and really underrated
Here's an eBay auction for it
whoa, i remember back when i heard thier first demo stuff somewhere, i think on the cob board or offtopic there or something i'm not sure if they had a board back then, maybe. cool that they're signed to a record label and really doing some stuff, wicked music.
hey guys. this band is nothing like Nevermore, but i want you all to check them out. they are called Discidium. www.myspace.com/discidium
This is awesome, must get myself to one of their gigs soon!
