I don't know if anyone has mention Fair to Midland

the new album is just about the catchiest and most well crafted rock music I've heard in like five years.

image porcupine tree, mars volta, coheed and cambria type pop-fueled modern prog rock, only a lot less diddly and extremely energetic and infectious.

    great record.

    Naglfar's album, "Diabolical"...

Think Satyricon's Nemesis Divina meets Emperor's In the Nightside Eclipse

I like Naglfar a lot, but I completely agree with Wolftribe.

S.A Slayer. This was Ron Jarzombek's old band. They play technical thrash/speed metal. Not quite as over the top as Watchtower, and not quite as good either, but definitely worth checking out.
Juggernaut (featuring Bobby Jarzombek). They're more of a semi-technical thrash/speed metal band. The bass is in the forefront of the mix, which is great considering the bass work is pretty damn impressive.

    World Below, their myspace says:
Sounds LikeThey say we sounds like Candlemass, Cathedral, Orodruin, Solitude Aeturnus, Krux and so on...

people here like these bands, and this song I'm playing, Monster in the Closet is GOOD. reminds me of ozzy's voice a bit, backed by some great slightly more modern doom.

Adramelch. Awesome old-school prog/power metal from Italy. A little on the side of Iron Maiden worship, but still excellent, and really underrated
Here's an eBay auction for it
