I've been loving this stuff lately. As a guideline, here are some bands I've thought kicked ass recently:

    Ocean Chief
    Buried at Sea
    Electric Wizard's new album
    Unearthly Trance

Try going further underground, since I've heard basically everything there.

What's up man. If you have the time, do a search on the genre in subject titles here. There was a few huge threads that I listed an exhorbantly amount that I'm too lazy to do right now. A lot of really good bands were mentioned. CHeers.

    Haha OK. Thanks.

Edit: dot(.) is excellent. Too bad they have no LPs. I'm getting their split with Fleshpress (who also sound promising due to their indicated genre on metal-archives and the fact that they have Mikko from DSO and Clandestine Blaze on drums). I downloaded a band called Foetor, too. M-A says that they/he has/have no albums out, but I found one called Fungi From Yuggoth that is awesome sludge/funeral doom.

BSW: I saw that you mentioned Wormphlegm in another thread. They fucking kick ass. I've loved these guys since I first heard the demo.
