I just listened to that Limbonic art and they are pretty damn good, only 2 members and a drum machine, interesting.

    Some recomendations from myself:

Martyr (tech death/thrash, bit like Atheist. I know some people already listen to them here)
    Arcturus (avant garde)
Oceansize (post rock, probably the best post rock I've ever heard)
Dark Suns (like Tool, but in my opinion, better)
    Mithras (cosmic themed death metal)

Ulcerate - New album is amazingly good. Tech/Brutal Death with eerie atmosphere
Immolation - if you have not heard them, check them out. Old School DM - sinister/twisted sounding riffs with great atmosphere.
+1 on Martyr.. Mongrain writes the most twisted riffs!
Spawn of Possession - Amazing Band - crazy tech death with quite a bit of classical music influence. (Probably my favourite tech death band)
