Sounds excellent .... still has that Vanden Plas vibe despite the fact that Lill doesn't seem to be involved in this one. The debut was a top 5 for me .. got to get this one.

I do see however Andy Kuntz was involved.

I have to agree ... this is an excellent cd. I think it's got a strong shot at a being in my top 5 this year. Anyone who likes Vanden Plas will like this one. It's pretty much strong from beginning to end.

This CD is a masterpiece! I HIGHLY recommend it!

A shame certain songs did not make it on the album!

I dig it as well. I have been a fan of Chity since I heard Avalon's "Eurasia." I haven't quite yet digested it yet, as I have only spun it a couple of times, but I can tell already it is a stellar release.

Edit...... P.S. Hi Chitral !! It has been a long time. We used to talk on ICQ back years ago. Congrats on the new release. Hang around here and talk to us from time to time. We would love to have you at the forum and possibly PPUSA one year.

Any Vanden Plas fan should check this disc out. I also kind of get a Threshold/Dead Reckoning vibe with this one. Red Circuit has managed to capture some of that epic quality from Vanden Plas but condense it down into 4 and 5 minute tunes.

If I had to rank discs for 2009 Red Circuit - Homeland would be in my top 3 along with Redemption, and Amorphis.

    Check it out. http://www.myspace.com/redcircuitband

Way to go Chity !!!!! This disc is highly recommended for fans of powerful melodic metal with CRUNCH !!!!!!

I found their first one (Trance State) eMusic, and I am really enjoying the hell out of it! So you are telling me the new one is even THAT much better? Daaamn! Will definitely be looking forward to when it becomes available here in the states!

Trance State is excellent as well. I am not sure which one I like the best. I would definately recommend both.

To dig up an older thread again...

I've finally got the chance to download and listen to the Trance State album off of eMusic. Holy SHIT!!! This has got to be one of the most bad ass and awesome things that I've gotten to listen to in a long time.

Now, I REALLY can't wait to hear the new one if everybody is saying that it is even better!

Any chance for Red Circuit for the showcase?

Red Circuit has always flown under my radar. Britt finally got me to listen to this. Excellent disc. Top 10 for sure, maybe Top 5 of 2009.

Not as good as the debut...but definitely notable. Chity brings it for sure. l need to give this more attention to see if the impact increases.

+1 IMHO it doesn't have the punch that Trance State has, but still worth the listen.

Great cd! I like it as much as the first cd....fantastic stuff. If I can't have more new material from Vanden Plas, then Chity and crew are easily the next best thing. Terrific job guys!

Danm! Your voice sounded so good and familiar to me. I have VisionEden from Avalon, a great record indeed.
It is nice to hear you singing on this awesome album, congratulation! :headbang:
