I have an older friend who drank hard liquor most of his drink time. He has slurred speech from brain damage, and his liver is on the brink of disease. You can see the brain damage in your brain when you get a brain scan. People don't realize how much permanent brain damage alcohol does. I have seen what alcohol does in the long term effects. I don't give a shit what people do, if they kill themselves or not but I have seen the long term effects of booze first hand and the end results are never pretty. I myself cut back on drinking and I feel good. I smoke weed here and there but that is much safer than drinking all the time. I have kneeled to the toilet throne enough barfing my guts out from drinkig drinking drinking. Until I said I've had enough so I cut back. Yes it's fun to drink when your young, but that shit comes to haunt you later in life.
That's what I although woud be interested in. As long as I don't get any official information about it, has Alexi not more than a stuffed-up nose, in my opinion!! :Smug:
Maybe they don't want to cause any unnecessary panic and won't send out an official press release until it's really necessary, closer to the start of the tour. That is still 2 months away after all. Or there can be tons of other reasons.
If this is in fact true, I'll wish a speedy and easy recovery. If it's not true, well, that's a good thing.
At least nothing can prevent the album being released in five weeks. Imagine if this happened last autumn.
I'm with srob7001 on this one..Alexi only got himself to blame, and he doesn't have my sympathy either as he put this on himself. Sure, I want him to recover ASAP, but it's not like ''OH NO! alexi! poor alexi!!!! I wish you a super speedy recovery and I have you in my prayers!'' His years of alcohol abuse finally ''payed off''. Hopefully this is a really big wake up call for him, but I doubt it is.
Ohhh fck here we go again ! Just as a tour is comming up he crashes some way or the other coz he fcks around fcking himself up ! We prolly will see him breaking this or that from falling from the bunk during the tour coz of passing out from drinking uke: Just crossing my fingers that they do get to play in CpH :Smug:
