Yeah that is an awesome album!
New Dark Moor! I have 'The Gates Of Oblivion' and that's a great album, that chick has a great voice,I'd be keen to grab the new one if its getting favourable reviews.

Bleed and Enlighten the Darkness are solid. To Dust You Will Decay has a few good songs too, but i dont remember liking that album as much as the other two. Different vocalist on that one, no?

Almost every song on Enlighten the Darkness is awesome. "Cross of Hate" is sick.

Not a bad song, that new Dark Moor. I even liked the video until the stupid UFO.

posted this in the wrong thread before. do any of you know any stuff like early dark moor/fairyland which isn't shite? it's so hard to find this shit. i say 'early dark moor' because the above song sucks to me, their material at the start of the millennium was amazing though.

Of Wars In Osyrhia is the only Fairyland album I like but I love it.The epitome of cheesy flower metal IMO.I wish I could find another album to match or rival it.

that album is great yeah, i think the second and third dark moor albums match if not beat it though. i really want more stuff along those lines (and similar level of quality).

Blasted "Nightfall in Middle Earth" on the way back from the Pentagram show in Chicago. Even my Tolkien-loving ass finds this album a bit mixed. It's too fucking long and while I appreciate those interludes, I'd just rather blast Somewhere Far Beyond instead.

Blood Tears though is pretty awesome I've raised the chalice to that one a few times, even those two Avantasia Metal Opera's have their moments but that guy turned into a total Schneider after that.

I dunno how I forgot about this one but it definitely deserves a mention here 'Dreams In The Witch House: A Lovecraftian Rock Opera' there are great moments on this and some pretty cool guest appearances as well.

I'm with you. It isn't bad - it's well written and the playing is professional grade A - but it is not sticking with me like Nemesis, which is an amazing album start to finish.

Infidel Rising sounds good. Their song "The Power of Goodbye" is also pretty bad ass.
