Listened to the whole thing today, solid album. Not sure if any of the other tracks top the singles, but certainly strong all the way through. gonna enjoy sitting with it for a while. Gods, this song's a beast: This shit slays. It'll keep me entertained until the next Visigoth. Fuckin' awesome.
My friend's band dropped their new album today. Self-produced, recorded and mastered, fucking beast of a record. I'm being an ass. "Feanor" and "Mirror Mirror" are also tracks on Blind Guardian's Nightfall in Middle Earth. "Feanor" alone wouldn't raise an eyebrow; I'd just be like "OK blackened sympho-power metal Tolkien nerds, shocker." But the fact that they have two songs with the same titles and they invited Hansi on the record... yeah, there's some BG worship going on. But I'm cool with it, especially since the music is solid.
since left by Apollo i'm a little hard to accept the new songs.. especially now Bob is out of them too! but after all they are one of the best power metal bands..
