Blut Aus Nord ripped off Jimi Hendrix.

Jimi Hendrix Experience - "Love or Confusion" - 1:25 to 1:55 sounds very similar to the latter half of "Our Blessed Frozen Cells" from The Work Which Transforms God.

And yes, this thread is for finding such similarities.

I hear the same riffs all the time in music, there are only 12 notes and only so many patterns. The more music you hear the more you'll hear similarities with riffs, and some artists do rip others off on purpose and sometimes obviously coincidentaly.

I wouldn't say one was ripped off the other but Curse of the Pharaohs and Welcome To Hell's intro riffs sound pretty similar.

    As does Dragonforce.

Listen specifically to the opening riffs to "Fury of the Storm" and "Prepare For War." They're nearly identical.
