RITUAL SIGN WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH PURE STEEL RECORDS Pure Steel Records are pleased to announce the recent signing of American Heavy Metal band RITUAL. The band, led by vocalist Juan Ricardo (Sunless Sky/Wretch) recently contacted our offices to share some great news with us. "Hello my good friend! YES. Ritual are signed to Pure Steel Records and we are reissuing our classic "Trials of Torment" album as a 30 year anniversary edition to celebrate the band's long history. The album will feature new artwork and mastering. Also, a brand new track along with live tracks as bonus material. RITUAL will present an OFFICAL music video of the new track "Beyond the Sea" which is currently being edited". Ricardo further states, "RITUAL 'The Trials of Torment' went to Number 1 in Germany and Belgium in the summer of 1992, but, unfortunately, we were never able to tour there. So in view of this, we will soon announce a European tour of Germany and Belgium beginning from March 11th through March 18th including an appearance at the Full Metal Festival on March 16th in Niederjossa, Germany! RITUAL „Trials Of Torment" - Cover, Tracklist, Release Date: 15th March 2019 The release date of the of the album „Trials Of Torment“ by the US-Metal Band RITUAL on CD is March 15th, 2019. The pre-order phase will start on March 1st, 2019 in our webshop. Ritual was originally founded in 1985 as Firedance, later renamed Rotterdam in 1986 and then Torment in 1988. Under this name the band released three demos, the last one in 1991 with vocalist Juan Ricardo featured the fabled songs She Rides the Sky and Espionage. Then in 1993 the band from Cleveland, Ohio had great underground success. Renamed Ritual, they released their legendary debut 'Trials of Torment'. A ten song masterpiece combining Speed and Thrash metal with soaring vocals in a very sophisticated way. This year, Ritual will not only perform for the first time on European soil at the "Full Metal Osthessen festival" but will possibly do a European tour to celebrate the re-release of their classic from 1993.
