Dammit I missed nudity SHIIIT and it was male to double shit when the hell did that happen. Twas a good gig, Shane did an awesome job I was dissapointed there was no guitar duels but oh well Josips drunken antics made up for that. Great day out
Awesome show, enjoyed it the whole thing. The old fella seemed a bit weird, he was getting into it though, the naked guy following him had me in stitches for ages! The band was tight as, Steelheart went off! Shane especially kicked ass, he nailed all the Dungeon/Lord material! Hopefully, we will see more metal shows down in Wollongong! I was the guy in the Queensryche shirt, cheers to LT, TY and Andy for signing my Final Chapter cd! Shane, nice to meet you mate, hopefully you can bring TM down to Wollongong for a show! Once again, cheers on an excellent show guys!
I thought it was cool. Shane played awesome. I could hear both TY and Andy's backing vocals they just needed to be louder.
I was glad this gig didn't turn out to be the trainwreck it could have been! It was wierd being stage with a band playing songs i'd watched them play dozens of times from the crowd. It was a lot of fun. Apologies for forgetting the TM cd Imprinted Life. Nice to meet you anyway mate and hopefully we can get you a copy soon.
Not a worry mate! I will probably pick one up at Evergrey, if you are selling them there! Any chance of a TM show down Wollongong way in the future?
Haha, that old guy was hilarious. When he first walked in I thought this is going to be interesting. Then when he was follwed around by the drunk naked guy, priceless. Props to Andy for going over and playing in front of him, although I couldn't see the old guy's face from where I was. He spoke to me as I was taking out gear and merch to the car and said something to the effect of, "Oh, it's over? Everyone leaving now?" Haha. Did anyone happen to have any of the food at the Palm Court? Holy shit it was good. Pub food is great.
Due to the bumping of this thread i realised i never answered your question! Definitely at some point we'll be trying to organise something down there. Probably not until next year though.
I wish there were more local gigs, well.. at least some in the gong.. Im getting sick of traveling 2-3 hours, wasting $40 worth of petrol, when i could waste that money on booze at a local gig. I think im going to have a talk to my mum and see if i can get her to allow her boss to give me the keys to the local hall for a night. And organize a night of metal. Nowra needs it lol.
