Sure we are not alone in the universe, just too many (infinite) stars with too many planets on which life could evolve.

    But...

And it is a very big but :)

Distances are too great for any alien civilization visits to be possible without "breaking" laws of physics as we know them (wormholing through higher dimension).

Roswell incident was just a meteo balloon with some secret military equipment aboard.

It is even illogical to think that an advanced civilization that could travel to a different star could lose a spacecraft this way... come on... malfunction and crash ??? LOL

Oh and if that petition has any effect and they release all documents i can't see a single alien spacecraft crash coverup conspiracy theory fan believing the government anyway. :D

Uh, oh, here I go again. Why does seemingly everyone assume that our current laws of physics cannot be broken? Physics have been around for thousands of years, and throughout that time laws have been broken and replaced by newer, better ones. Why all the sudden in the last 100 years did our physics laws all the sudden become final? The blind lead the blind.

GGI read again what you quoted.
I never said our current understanding of laws of physics are final and complete.

It is just that we know that E=mc^2 which tells us that even visiting the closest star systems would take us hundreds if not thousands of years of travelling.

If you're someone who enjoys reading about black ops and Cold War-era military projects, this is a pretty decent book to read.

I picked it up at the library, the majority of the book is about the U2 and SR-71 developments, along with some nuclear testing, but it does bring up Roswell at a few points and discusses what the author was told by "reliable" sources. You always need to take that with a grain of salt, but I enjoyed the read, no conspiracy tin foil hat theories. Quite sane, actually.

Last time I checked our within our current physics model it is theoretically possible to travel through wormholes. The big problem as to why it can't be tested is we do not have the technology to harness the power required as we are talking hundreds of nuclear power plants for a shuttle sized object.

Last time I heard there was a machine that was made that could accelerate particles in the the past by the same principal. As to whether it has been tested and worked or not is beyond me.

The founding of area 51 and the development of the U2 and SR-71 is pretty interesting. It doesn't mean you have to be a tin foil hat nut to enjoy the topic.

I'm too tired to "debate" again, so here is my act of presence.

Just wanted to say everyone believing the area 51 is the place where the most important researches are made and secrets kept just fell into the trap

Sorry, I should have been more specific - I meant the "tin foil" comment in regards to the sections about Roswell, what early responders thought were "aliens", etc.

Although the backgrounds of the U2 and SR-71 are fairly well documented at this point, it still made for some very interesting reading about the development of the planes, pilot casualties, and some of the capabilities of the planes.

Unless of course these aliens live for long periods of time, say a few thousand years, then conventional slower-than-light space travel isn't so far-fetched.

Throwing my tin foil hat in the ring.

Clearly there are aliens. Obzen could only have been written by beings from another planet.

I got that, I was referring to Area 51 in its entirety.

Maybe you should actually do your research on Area 51. If you knew who founded it, built it and why, what actual declassified CIA documents state weaponry came from the facility you wouldn't believe that your statement could only be known by "tin foil hat conspiracy theorists" is even remotely correct. Maybe trying this will help.
