Seriously, what's the reason why Testament never tours the US anymore?

Has the band ever stated why they do full-scale tours in Europe and Japan and always now never come to do past 2 dates in the US?

Well, they havn't had a new record in 5 years , plus most of them have day jobs and don't do music full time. I'm sure when the new record comes out next year, they will probably tour the US.

there just a bunch of old dudes with families who aren't into rocking out as much any more. and that's ok. Atleast the aren't like metlicka who are tired of music but still are putting out records.

Normal, respectable jobs - from the office, to the outdoors.

It sucks they can't live off their music, but it's good that they still have the will to make it and tour, despite other commitments...

Tr00 metal bands are getting more exposure now than they were 3 years ago when nu metal was popular. They'll probably get MTV play and get to tour the U.S. after the next record is released.

Damn right Montreal misses Testament. It's been way too long since the last show at The Medley during the Riding The Snake Tour. They went out to Europe a few times recently so I'm under the impression that we're next. We'll have to wait and see once the new album is released on what the bands touring plans are but i'm confident that they won't skip Montreal that's for sure. The Metal Gods show got cancelled and they owe us one!

Well at least my last time seeing them doesn't go back to that show cuz yes i was there (of course fuck, lol) but i got the chance to be at the TOTT and they play old songs from The Legacy and New Order,...was fucking amazing. But yeah, even that goes back to a long time ago.

Way back when they didn't need to work day jobs to support themselves. That's when metal was hot.
