Oh my god! How could you say that? Pharoah, to me, is one of their best songs. It's so fucking epic in terms of lyrics and quality of the song. Fallen is the same for me...it just has that grandiose feel to it. ..BAH...Pharaoh is amazing.
I love this song. I think a song based on the premise of an acient curse is awesome, and worked perfectly in this song. Plus, the break into the chorus is freakin' incredible!
I did not say it was bad! The song is so awesome that there aren't words to describe it! Don't get me wrong! lol the bass part is insane too. It's just so "metal"!
Then don't use a word like cheesy to describe it!!! Use "metal" or "fuckingsogoodyouwannakillsomeone". Words like that.
I like the intro to Pharaoh up through the second chorus, but the instrumental part loses me. It's a bit too long and repetitive for my tastes.
Nothing bad about Pharaoh at all IMO. It's got everything ya need; great lyrics, amazing vocal range, enough classical to quench your thirst, and a fucking metal chorus.
I apologize for being so silly. It really is an awesome song It's really metal. There's just something.... a .....liiiittle cheeezy about it..... I now walk away in fear of being yelled at.

Right now as far as a setlist goes, i wouldnt mind Hearing The Odyseyy and Paradise Lost in its entirety
The only song I don't care to see live is Communion of the Oracle, which they seem to be playing. I'd much rather have it be replaced by Paradise Lost...it's so much better imo.
I'd rather hear some new stuff instead of the songs they always play (Inferno, Sins and Shadows, Sea of Lies, etc.)
Agreed...how old though lol. Sins and Sea of Lies are both pretty old. I don't mind new or old stuff in particular. I just want some variation then all the same shit they always seem to play. Give me some underplayed greats like Wicked, Eyes of Medusa, Pharaoh, Fallen, or Orion the Hunter
I don't know if I would agree that Wicked is underplayed... it was pretty much a staple on The Odyssey tour.
Well if that's the case..that sucks. Because that is by far in my top 5 favorite S-X songs. *praying for Wicked*

They have to do a completely insane concert like this: Sea of Lies Egypt The Walls Of Babylon The Accolade The Accolade II Domination Seven Communion and the Oracle Sea of Lies Fallen Rediscovery The Odyssey The Divine Wings of Tragedy And make a professional quality DVD.
What's the second one? Sea of Lies Unplugged, where they play it at about half speed and Russel has a tambourine?
