I've never been a huge fan of Shadows Fall, but I did enjoy their previous work like The War Within and Fallout From The War. The track is pretty cool, but I really didn't enjoy the mix on this. Really boxy guitars, buried vocals with really thin sounding drums. The mix really reminds me of the first self titled Killswitch album.

    Any other thoughts?

I'm not the hugest fan of the instrumental mix, but the buried vocals kill me. Brian Fair is a great vocalist I wanna hear him! :bah:

This band has been dead to me since 2001.

I actually kind of dig this. Sounds a bit more like the Shadows Fall I remember.

I actually think it's really good overall... Can't say much about the mix bc I only listened on my crappy laptop speakers, but the song is cool

I usually like this guy's mixes, but this one is not very good. Buried Vocals, thin guits, thin drums, thin everything

I asked Brian Fair yesterday who mixed this...all I kept seeing in the press release was "produced by Adam D"...

Anyhow, Brian Virtue mixed this record.

Actually better than I thought it was going to be after the last few Shadows Fall records.

The rhythms sound stuffy. Vocals are way too quiet.

Anything after Of One Blood all sounded the same to me, and I couldn't get into much of it at all. This sounds a bit better, but is just sooooo repeatative and boring....
