haha you have too much time to be that much of an after effects pro dude
    ;)

after listening more then 1 time I also think that the mesas fit you the best.
liked the roadster the most out of those.
the 5150s didnt fit that good imo

the diezel comes closest to my tastes in lead tones

What I found interesting is how similar all the amps were. Yes were were some subtle differences but to all but the more trained ears they were probibily identical. Also when given modern sounding high gain amps a player will tend to twiddle the knobs until the amp gives them the sound that they want and thus various amps will seem similar for that reason alone. Any of those amps would make just about any metal player pretty happy.

    Oh and great playing dude!

Credit where credit is due. :kickass:

My favorite part of this whole thing, is my favorite amps out of your tests are always the amps that I own (I own a 2010 Recto over the Roadster in this case though, and this short clip (which I'm sure you remember) is the simple reason why :headbang:

I hope I have time to do it soon enough. I hate saying that I have to much shit going on(since I've always have had time for everything pre 2010) but it's the truth. :(

    great video!

i dig the roadster the most. the road king also was nice, but the roadster had a little extra. rectifier in comparison just lacked life, even though the basic timbre was the same.
out of the other amps, the 5150 III stood out the most.
btw, anyone else feel that the cobra just doesn't sound good for leads? it's always buzzy, or honky, depending on where you set the notch switch.
