In order to apply technicality you must have a creative approach to it. It takes logic and reason, two huge aspects of creativity -- Creativity doesn't mean thinking outside the box, it means applying knowledge and creating original ideas within the box. When you think outside the box, your forced to dismiss rules and standard logic and replace them with irrational ideas that most likely won't make any sense whatsoever, and cannot be considered a creative approach to music. :Smug:

I just this guy at some college here in SoCal. From what I could remember, it was so amazing. Me and my buddy were the only people hammered there. I do remember my friend cockblocking him after the show when he was walking some hottie white chick to her car.

You can sweep-pick all day and not be creative. There are a number of maneuvers one can do that are "technical" and can be performed without any sort of creativity. Technically musical? Yes, but not creative... What are you talking about? Also, I never mentioned your metaphorical box, or for that matter what creativity is or where one must reside in said box to be such (creative) and pull it off well. Seems like you're just trying to start an argument kiddo. Anyways, Victor Wooten is gaymazing.

    *edit*

I'd totally have a womb implanted if I knew I could capture the seed of Wooten and raise little bass playin' chitlins that were half as talented as him.

His name is too technical for me. Automatically dismissed.
