Im Looking for bands similar to Orphaned Land? A lot of the reccomendations on this forum haven't been quite what im looking for, im thinking more in the direction of Opeth, Agalloch, Novembre, Anathema, etc.?
Maybe Orphaned Land are truly just unique?
Give these guys a listen in the meantime.. for fans of the above

Hi, as I'm new to this forum, I'm not sure if this band has been mentioned before, but I would recommend you check out Arkan. It's a French band who has just released their second album, and Kobi does guest vocals on one track.
Saw them live in Paris, supporting Paradise Lost, and it was a great show.

No problem. After a quick check of this forum I found a thread not far down on this subject, where there are a lot of suggestions. haven't had time to check them all out yet, but give it a look.

Hey Darkness, that Pilgrim band you posted was pretty cool, can hear a lot of Novembre and Agalloch in the songs. Interestingly enough, they live right near me in Sydney Australia.

    Cheers!
