He's an excellent, excellent, excellent drummer... but I don't know if he'd fit the genre...?

That's funny pest , I actually heard from someone that he quit TO join Testament ???????? Weird how this rumor is going around

(any small piece of truth to this DE ??)

and I agree ee w/ TL , he might be a better fit for a band like Dragonlord or some other Black/Extreme Death Metal band.

A guy like John Tempesta is more Testament's style

at the last Dimmu/Nevermore/CoB.......concert in SF!......He is a great drummer.......but I don't think the fit is quite right.........IMO......

I agree with HL, Johnny Temp is more Test's style. He's a cool ass drummer
    and a cool ass dude.

well, im pretty sure the TestAmenT drum spot is reserved for "the storm" i do agree tho, nick would be cool in DragonLord. but my biggest concern is whois gonna be drumming for dimmu??!!? Maybe they can get Tjodalv to come back, he had a killer drum style.

I kinda doubt Tjodalv would come back - he's finishing up with the new Susperia album. Eric mentioned Hellhammer to me, and I couldn't agree more...! Hellhammer would be awesome!

I think Nick would do fine with Testament...I'm sure he could adapt his playing style to them fairly quick. He uses a lot of triggers in Dimmu..and as a result he's not a hard hitter like Johnny is, but Black metal requires a certain sound so I'm sure that's the reason for the triggers. He's a brick so I'm sure he could hit harder than hell if he was in a thrash band!! He's got REALLY quick hands and feet like Gene Hogland!! He could do it...I'm sure of it!

That IS bad-ass. I love the new stuff as well... can't pick just one tune right now. I really enjoy Galder's guitar playing/stage presence!

I got to meet him before a Dimmu/Nevermore show :D.
