Hey Travis, pardon if this is a too stupid question, but when you're gonna start a new cover design, what size you use ??(500 x 500, 700x700, for example)
If anybody knows too, I would answer...

    thanks

Most Covers are at 300 dpi at 5x5 (b/c of the bleed edge)

I always start out at 5" x 5" 350 dpi.. as most print houses require 340+ dpi for some reason... if you make em bigger to start its a safe bet because you never know when a band might want a slip cover or digipak....

In your experience, What format is most commonly used to send the printing company for Cd covers? (Qwark, PDS, AI, TIFF, ect...)
    What is your preference?
