That I cannot deny!
Not saying I'm not happy that the cats helped, and your grandma didn't suffer anymore paranormal activities after getting cats, but for real????
Like cats have mysterious powers or soemthing? Hey, cat's would sure like to think they do
Cats are known to ward off bad spirits, however, I don't think anything in my grandma's house was bad. I think cats (and other animals) can see things we don't. Have you ever seen your cat staring intently at something you can't see? If you don't believe in spirits to begin with then it doesn't really matter *shrug*
And when I say staring at something you can't see, I mean, you going up to the wall and checking out every inch of it for a bug or whatever, and finding NOTHING. And yet they still stare.
and make sure those cats aren't black!
Yes, my cat always states at 'nothing' like that.
Following this logic though, why do domesticated cats that have been inbred to fit human needs, have powers that 'spirits' are afraid of, and let's say... tigers don't? Or Pumas? Or Lions? I've never seen lions stare at 'nothing' like my cat does. (and I know lions..I can promise you that much)
Because if there are some spirits that need to be ass whooped, I say lets go all the way and bring the big guns, not just some lousy house cat that chases laser points and light reflections off the wall!
If I had a bad spirit or an evil ghost I would consider adopting a lion. Or possibly a cheetah.
No no, cheetahs scare away demons, not ghosts.
If house cats can see spirits then I don't see why wild cats can't either. But if you don't live with them then you're probably not going to notice them acting strange.
Plus, if we're talking about spirits that are deliberately hanging around people, in houses, well, that doesn't happen in the wild. But yeah, maybe exorcisms should be performed with lions
And not just cats, either. I mean, there were my grandma's dogs that would bark at the same spot on the roof for hours, EVERY DAY, right in the spot where I saw the little boy and girl on her roof.
Did those little boy and girls had clothes on? Because I always wondered why do ghosts have clothes on? Did the clothes die too?
^ I can't take credit for the above though:
I suppose if they were wearing leather or animal fur.
Yes they were wearing clothes. Some say spirits can be residual and not conscious, like a captured image/video playing over and over, so what they looked like at the time is what they look like in spirit form. That would kind of explain why this happened every day around the same time. Why they were on the roof though, is beyond me. Maybe in their time they were on a balcony of a two-story house or something, and that's why they were up so high. I don't know, but I did see it.
The images of them could just have been residual, but there was plenty of non-residual stuff that happened inside the house. By that I mean things that seemed deliberate. Like the "whoosh" that blew the LOCKED front door open, turned the corner, went down the hall, and busted out the bathroom window at the end of the hall. And didn't damage the front door or the lock at all. Guided missile?
Or clothes made from human flesh.
I have studied and experimented with lucid dreaming on and off for 15 years or so - and I get false awakenings all the time. Most of the time I have either a lucid dream or a really vivid dream and then I think that I have woken up and started writing down notes about it or telling my wife about it. Then I end up waking up for real and realize that I didn't wake up previously as I thought - it is a head trip for sure, but I sort of enjoy the weirdness of it. On the other hand, I can't ever recall having sleep paralysis, but I've heard a lot about it and it certainly doesn't seem too enjoyable. My best advise is to try and keep a dream journal so that you can catalog when these things happen and then over time, try to see if you can match it to certain behaviors (state of mind, drugs, etc.).
I would LOVE to hear about your source for the ground breaking news about the "U.S. government " with the yearly budget to research "the afterlife".
What part of the U.S. government are we talking about? I have friends in MANY high places, you wouldn't even imagine, and I would love to ask them about it. Also, what kind of research? what is the base for it? ghosts? afterlife? souls? What are the conclusions so far? where we can we read the thesis about those researches? and I do want a .gov website, since you know, it's the U.S. government .
and when you say: "being studied scientifically" do you mean they have a machine that measures waves, and head antenas, or are we talking about national labs and a fair amount of scholars and professors dedicating their time, good brains, and resources to study spirits?
Sorry, but I don't buy that.
Yeah, cause is the messed-up biorhythm. As for it only 'feeling' real, I'm going to be honest and say I just don't know. You might be right, but I know what imagination-feeling-real is like, and this was much, much more convincing.
I don't know. I might be. I try not to be, but maybe I am. Hell, I've done some bad things in my life. I think no more than others, but who knows?
Haha, that could be it, though I doubt it. Maybe it's simply that when I'm in that state, I'm in a place where something doesn't want me to be, like it's trying to scare me away.
That "little orange fella" belongs to the neighbours. I'm not going to steal someone's kitten because I'm having scary episodes.
Yeah, scares the shit outta me too. I think it depends on the mindset you have when you first try/get confronted with it. If you're afraid or surprised, the experience is terrifying, if you've done it intentionally and know how to deal with it, the experience is wonderful - and then it's a vicious circle. If you had an awful experience, you'll be even more afraid next time it happens to you.
That is true.
No matter. As long as I don't invite them into my house, I should be fine, right?
I think you'd sleep better at night if you got nudes of that chick.
I have never had any out-of-body experience or a so called astral projection but supposedly they can be induced in this falsely awakened state. I have however had quite a few lucid dreams, which are pretty amazing in itself.
fucking LOL at "confirmed by research"
Yeah I was LOLing at that too
