When I read the interview in which Mikael metioned Vio-lence I had the idea to call a band Violince. A mixture of Violins and Violence. It would as well describe the music my band would make very well.

Phonetically, this pretty nifty joke was made by the band Lagwagon in their 1995 song "Violins".

 

Of course it may have also derived from the track Big Band, Sax, and Violence from the 1982 Death Wish II soundtrack by Jimmy Page. :Smug:

A friend of mine is in a band called Final Eve which is a cool name I think, other than that I can't really think of anything that good without being extremely cheesy, maybe The Explorer after my favourite Vintersorg song.

If I were in a band, I would probably be a vocalist of a "gothic metal" band of a name along the lines of "Moonless Night" or "Tears of the Sun".

If I were Japanese, perhaps, but definitely not schoolgirl clothing.
