A whole bunch of Opeth songs. All the 80s Iron Maiden epics like To Tame A Land & Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Danzigs How the Gods Kill. Thresholds Innocent. Mercyful Fates Lady In Black & Time. And like forty more. Fantomas Rosemarys Baby is like the creepiest song ive heard. And the theme from Excorcist.

Hehehe yes we should. I have some deep affection for Pärt's music.

I also see that Saturnus - Inflame Thy Heart made it up here. Good song.

Blut Aus Nord also has lots of good stuff, especially for the spine chilliness.

    oh god so many songs.

    "Angel's Requiem" by Far Beyond
    "La Dryade" by Gris
"Kings of the Carnival Creation" by Dimmu Borgir, especially from 4:03 onward
"Gestern Starb Ich Schon Heute" by Bethlehem
"Nordland" by Bathory, in a SERIOUS way
"And Then There Was Silence" by Blind Guardian
    "The Moor" by Opeth
"At The Left Hand ov God" by Behemoth

Probably the #1 is "Orion" by Metallica though with those SEXY SEXY SEXY string bends. The Rodrigo Y Gabriela version also has that effect. It's just a fucking sexy perfect sexy time song. BONERRR

I'm afraid of Pyha and sometimes the first track on "Dominine Es Dignus" by Anaal Nathrakh scares me...the one that's just a distorted sample of a guy puking.

"With Strength I Burn" by Emperor, it's absolutely epic. Their cover of "A Fine Day to Die" also gives me chills.
