I also think Arsis is another one of a kind band, like Kalmah. Does anyone know a place with lots of Arsis guitar pro tabs? ;)

kalmah is kalmah. melodic swamp death metal or whatever you wanna call it

norther, cob, and wintersun sound a bit like kalmah (admit it..). nevertheless, kalmah is unique.

Arsis is really good, their not as well known, so you wont find alot of guitar tabs by them.

If Insomnium sounds like DT then Kalmah sounds like CoB and Norther...

kalmah is the most original and catchiest band ive ever heard. sounds like absolutely no other band out there. COBs got so many cheese moments and the singing is different i wouldnt even consider them on the same level.

All I can say is your logo sucks. How people can ever promote your material or salute you if they don't even know what does it say...
But it's up to you :)

Honestly, the ONLY band that reminds me of Kalmah are Dark Moor.
Yes they are powermetal but numerous melodies are similar to Kalmah.
And yes again, Kalmah is harsher but still... check out Dark Moor!

They are pretty well known. I like their music but would like it even more if they got a new vocalist

Haha, so Kalmah is SO good that saying they sound like Kalmah is an insult?:worship:

I don't actually own a Kalmah CD yet, planning on ordering one in a couple days though.
