The "greatest hit" to my ears, and the one that was probably my most funnest song to learn, play, and still to this day to listen back to...
Sharpen Your Mind Tools from Vintersorg's Focusing Blur.
Give it another listen, and maybe you'll know why it fills all three catagories for me.

For me the most beautiful work of Steve is in Vintersorg:

    The explorer
    ESP Mirage
    Vem Styr Symmetrin?
    Spegelsfären
A Sphere in a sphere (to infinity?)
    A Microscopical Microcosm
    Sharpen Your Mind Tools
    The Essence

    Death:

    The Philosopher
    Jealousy
    Overactive Imagination
    Cosmic Sea
    Mentally Blind
    Destiny

    Control Denied

    Consumed
    Breaking the Broken (amazing)
What If...? (the intro is so brutal)

    Testament

    Riding The Snake
    Eyes Of Wrath
    3 Days in Darkness

    Sadus

    Elements of Anger in general
