Maybe they will add some cover songs they just recorded or a bonus dvd with old footage. That would be awesome:headbang:

Cool! Maybe this time i will actually like the album! I always thought the songs were great but the production ruined the whole thing for me.

I think that it'll be like the Ghost Reveries special edition and come with both the stereo and 5.1 mixes on separate discs. It wouldn't make a lot of sense for them to re-release an album only in a 5.1 mix.

This is great, but Morningrise should definitely be redone as well, I know Mikael said he didn't like the quality too

yeh its sort of odd to me that they did still life first considering mike hates the morningrise production so much. ah well, im not complaining, this is gonna be fucking good.

Why is that bad? 5.1 is better imho, if its done properly anyway.

Hopes for much less reverb this time around.....

    ...Too bad I don't own a 5.1 system
I will one day, but I'm used to the sound so it doesn't bother me at all.

Would it be wrong to buy a 5.1 system just for this?

You know, the hard muddy rough sound that comes on when The Moor kicks in has always kinda bothered me. I always turn the bass down when I listen to it in the car cuz it sounds like shit. That's probably why I dont get that much urge to listen to it anymore. After all, the music on it is top notch.

I wonder if/when this will be released. I'd have to think that most Opeth fans would buy this.

Morningrise and Still life, quite frankly, 2 of the albums for me in my "rarified air stratosphere." Best of the best. Great news.

In my opinion... This album does not need re-mixing.
all the songs on this album are great and the lyriks even better.
